Also, we are certified to teach the Kripalu Yoga in the Schools (KYIS) program. KYIS is an evidence-based yoga curriculum designed for adolescents.  The 24-session KYIS program targets Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) skills, including stress management, emotional regulation, self-appreciation and confidence, and strong peer relationships. The framework fosters these SEL skills in adolescents through a yoga- and mindfulness-based curriculum. Because yoga is a holistic system of mind-body practices for mental, physical, and emotional health, it is an ideal method to teach young people life skills for stress reduction and regulating emotions in optimal ways.
Studies conducted by Kripalu’s Institute for Extraordinary Living (IEL), in conjunction with Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, have shown positive effects of yoga on adolescents. This IEL research has proven that the KYIS yoga curriculum reliably improves resilience and prevents increases in negative emotional states in adolescents. The yoga curriculum also attenuates anxiety and stress and improves self-regulation. Students have reported on more focus in school, improved test taking and grades, feelings of an enhanced school community, a greater tolerance for others, improved impulse control, reduced stress, and improved sleep as some of the many benefits they received from the yoga program.

We are offering Yoga practices at YOUR workplace to promote a culture of  motivated, healthy and productive employees. Yoga can give you the much needed inner calm and peace in today’s demanding and stressful work environment and a sense of mental clarity on how to move forward in challenging situations. Regular yoga and meditation practice has also proven to improve your focus in todays over connected world.
Yoga is beneficial to children of all ages.  Yoga helps kids achieve a sound mind in a sound body by exercising the physical body and calming the mental spirit. Children encounter emotional, social, and physical challenges or conflicts. A dedicated and intentional yoga practice that includes breathing techniques, behavioral guidelines, and physical postures can be incredibly valuable for them.  The breathing, the concentration, the poses, and the way kids learn to act or react to situations, will lead to constant self-discovery and inquisitiveness.  Yoga introduces values such as non-harming, truthfulness, moderation, cleanliness, gratitude, and self-discipline. It invites them to a fun non-competitive space that can boost their self-esteem.
We strive to bring the best of the teaching talent to your workplace.
Practices will include yoga postures, breathing techniques (pranayama) and meditation based on traditional Hatha Yoga techniques. Classes will be conducted on-site by Yoga Teachers Registered through Yoga Alliance.
